well, nginx is my choice for almost everything, still i am trying to 
minimize amount of intermediate software wherever possible.

P.S.
with nginx and postgreSQL i have managed to eliminate any trace of 
server-side scripting  in my previous project :)
just nginx connected to Postgres.
